Leaving the Hospital

As he left his hospital room to return home, Walton said clearly to all of the hospital staff, "Thank you very much!" Nurses came out of every nook and cranny to say goodbye to him. As we neared the elevator, one nurse saw us and said with disappointment in her voice, "Oh!  He's leaving...?!" Walton elicits warm, tender feelings in people. I feel lucky to be his friend and housemate.
