Daniel Zündorf brings new perspective to Highland House
Daniel Zündorf decided a long time ago that he didn't want to carry a weapon. When it came time for him to either enter Germany's compulsory military service or find an alternative, he chose L'Arche Greater Washington, D.C. Daniel became L'Arche's newest assistant at Highland House in January.

L’Arche opposes VA budget cuts
“I don’t want them to live in a jail house,” Eileen Schofield said, her four-foot-nine-inch frame reflecting the conviction of someone who has lived with former residents of Forest Haven, D.C.’s notorious and now defunct institution for people who have intellectual disabilities. Eileen’s comment was directed at Virginia representatives during a public budget hearing January 8.

Kevin Belford joins L'Arche board
The L’Arche board voted unanimously in January to welcome Kevin Belford as its 13th member. Kevin was introduced to L’Arche through friends and has been connecting with the community for the past five years.
