Who we are

L'Arche Greater Washington, D.C. is a faith-based non-profit community where people with and without intellectual disabilities share their lives together. Our four homes in greater Washington provide competent and, most importantly, loving care to people with intellectual disabilities. As part of an international federation of L'Arche communities, we give witness to the reality that people with disabilities possess inherent qualities of dignity, spirituality, and friendship.
